Role purpose

We are currently recruiting a bright Lawyer to join our Employment team within our market leading Employment group in Rome or Milan. If you’re an ambitious Lawyer with a solid experience in employment, bring your ambition, initiative and entrepreneurial mindset to a global business that’s redefining the possible. You will be advising leading national and international companies operating in the most prominent industries on a wide range of employment matters including general advice, both ordinary and strategic; assistance on contentious matters and the management of the relationship with trade unions; social security law.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Managing and advising on a wide range of strategic employment law risks and issues;
  • Drafting, advising on and negotiating, as required, a variety of agreements, including contracts of employment, settlement agreements and supporting general commercial agreements involving employment matters;
  • Undertaking complex and routine legal cases involving employment matters including compliances, internal investigations and disciplinary matters.

  • Solid background in employment and labour law matters;
  • Strong academics;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of client service;
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and a varied workload;

We do not set up upper or lower limits of PQE for our vacancies. However, we think that candidates having between 1 and 4 PQE in the employment law sector are likely to have the right level of expertise to undertake the role.
