Lawyer / Senior Lawyer - Finance

We are currently recruiting an ambitious Lawyer or Senior Lawyer to join our market leading Finance team in Italy. We serve a diverse client base encompassing lenders and borrowers/sponsors, including investment funds, on all aspects of domestic or cross-border financing transactions, including real estate finance, acquisition finance and debt restructuring. Key Areas of Responsibility

You will be working as part of our market-leading team and will undertake a broad variety of work that will cover our core finance and restructuring services.

• Advising leading Italian and international banks, funds, asset managers and corporates on complex financing transactions, with a focus on real estate and asset‑backed financings, acquisition financings, cross‑border lending, debt restructuring and bond issuances.
• Assisting with structured real estate financings involving Italian REIFs (FIA), international investors and multi‑jurisdictional security packages, as well as extraordinary finance transactions for performing and distressed companies.

About you

• Italian qualified lawyer with great academic results.
• We do not set up upper or lower limits of PQE for our vacancies; however, we think that candidates having between 2- and 5- years’ experience are likely to have the right level of expertise to undertake the role.
• Excellent communication and drafting skills in Italian and English.
• Previous experience in banking and finance transactions matters.
• Provide a professional, quality service in a timely manner, and respond effectively to requests from internal and external clients.
• Commercially astute and stays current on key legal and business news.
