Legal Project Manager

We are seeking a Legal Project Manager to join our established and growing international Legal Project Management (LPM) team, part of the wider Law & team. This is a client‑facing role that acts as a key business partner between our legal teams, service delivery functions and clients.

 

Working alongside lead Partners, you will support the delivery of complex legal matters through effective project management, driving efficiency, innovation, and best practice in matter management. With process improvement and smarter ways of working at the heart of the firm’s strategy, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team delivering meaningful change.

 

Collaborating closely with Partners and their teams daily, to ensure matters are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standard of client service.

 

Main duties and responsibilities

 

  • Deliver Legal Project Management support across APAC as required
  • Partner with lead Partners and legal teams to manage end‑to‑end matter delivery
  • Define scope, timelines, budgets and governance from matter inception
  • Coordinate resourcing, pricing, planning, fee tracking and reporting
  • Monitor financial and project progress, managing risks and scope changes
  • Acting as a key liaison point with clients (where agreed), specialist departments and other offices
  • Apply a tailored LPM approach, from full project support to lite support on smaller engagements
  • Use LPM tools to track matters and report status
  • Identify and implement process improvements, efficiencies and new ways of working
  • Support change through coaching, training and strong cross‑functional relationships

 

About you 

 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Legal Project Manager or Legal Project Analyst within a law firm or in a similar business advisory position.
  • Experience working with clients and exposure to large, international organisations is advantageous
  • Strong analytical, strategic and financial acumen
  • Confident using Legal Project Management tools, legal technology and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and multitask effectively
  • Client‑focused, proactive and adaptable, with strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative team player who remains calm and resilient under pressure
