(Junior) Marketing & Business Development Specialist
We are looking for a (Junior) Marketing & Business Development Specialist – Pitch, to join our dynamic Marketing & Business Development team at the Warsaw office of DLA Piper law firm, one of the world’s leading international legal practices.
This role offers a unique opportunity to support a top-tier legal practice and gain hands-on experience across business development, pitching, marketing, PR, and digital communications.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Creating and coordinating client proposals (pitch decks, presentations) while ensuring consistency with the firm’s brand and global strategy;
- Reporting on pitching results and preparing performance analyses with recommendations;
- Collaborating with legal teams to identify and develop business opportunities and initiatives that strengthen client relationships;
- Implementing sector-specific BD plans and recommending development actions based on market data and trends;
- Preparing submissions for legal rankings and awards (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500);
- Supporting the implementation and management of pitching and CRM tools, as well as the standardization of BD processes;
- Collaborating with the MBD team on campaigns, events, and strategic projects, and coordinating with other DLA Piper offices on regional and cross-border initiatives.
About you
- Higher education (preferred fields: law, marketing, management, economics, communication / new media);
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in business development and pitching (ideally within a law firm or professional services environment);
- Ability to independently manage the end-to-end pitching process;
- Experience in preparing submissions for legal rankings and industry awards;
- Practical understanding of the legal services market and B2B procurement processes;
- Fluent command of Polish and English (spoken and written), enabling daily work with client-facing materials.
