Finance Operations Specialist- Reporting supports multiple business units and locations in the reporting activities, provides superior customer service to clients, ensures Service Level Agreements and customer expectations are met, informs about problems and suggests improvements in the process to the Team Leader. Finance Operations Specialist will be responsible for the delivering standard and ad hoc reports to internal and external clients with timely manners.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Validate data accuracy and completeness before producing reports.
- Maintain and update reporting dashboards or templates to ensure consistency and usability.
- Support data extraction from various systems using standard tools and queries.
- Monitor report performance and troubleshoot data or formatting issues.
- Document reporting procedures and maintain up-to-date process manuals.
- Collaborate with IT or data teams to resolve data source issues or implement enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, confidentiality, and compliance standards.
- Assist in automating recurring reports to reduce manual workload.
- Analyse reporting outputs to identify trends, anomalies, or potential risks.
- Provide basic insights or commentary to help stakeholders interpret results.
- Support new reporting initiatives or transitions to new reporting tools.
About you
- Very good English
- Strong analytical skills with attention to details
- Any relevant experience in finance, preferably in shared service
- Ability to prioritize and manage time wisely in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work in international diversified professional environment. Willingness to learn new systems and tools supporting the daily work. Thorough understanding of finance processes and respective control framework
- Can-do attitude
- VBA, Business Objects or SQL knowledge will be a strong asset
