Junior HR Specialist

Working as part of the GSC L&D team to support the International L&D Team and other Business Partners in the implementation of international and regional learning and development activities.

 

To succeed in this position you will need to have the ability to follow set operating procedures, meeting service level agreements with a focus on quality and customer service. Candidates must have the energy and enthusiasm to work flexibly in a fast moving and ever changing environment.

 

Main duties and responsibilities

 

  • Proactively work with stakeholders to manage and implement learning programmes
  • Management and maintenance of nomination process and attendance lists for key learning programmes
  • Utilize the Learning Management System to send delegate invites, manage responses and queries, manage course registration and record attendance
  • Manage the post course evaluation process
  • Create the learning plans in Learning Management System
  • Manage the administration involved in allocating learning plans to each employee
  • Run reports related to learning
  • Manage administration of learning activities in e-learning platform
  • Maintain process documentation
  • Both share and apply best practices
  • Ensure that all relevant company's standards and guidelines are met

 

About you

 

  • Excellent spoken and written English language skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels of organisation
  • Keen attention to detail with focus on quality
  • Ability to think critically and creatively to solve problems and make decisions where appropriate
  • Customer focus with ability to manage and resolve conflicts and build and maintain positive working relationships
  • Proactive approach, solution focused attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team and work independently
  • Practical IT skills in utilizing the following tools to complete work: spread sheets databases, word processing, presentation and e-mail software
  • Experience in working in a Shared Service Centre will be an asset
